People used to talk about the Seinfeld curse after the cast-members' post-Seinfeld shows failed spectacularly. Since Julia Louis-Dreyfus' success with "Old Christine" appears to have killed that curse, is it time to start talking about an O.C. curse?

Consider this: the first show to be cancelled this season was "The Beautiful Life," starring Mischa Barton, who played slutty rich kid Marissa Cooper on "The O.C." The second cancelled was "Southland," starring Benjamin McKenzie, who played loner-from-the-wrong-side-of-the-tracks Ryan Atwood on "The O.C."

Just saying.
