He’s New York-born and Canadian-bred; and despite his relatively young age, singer/songwriter Justin Nozuka has been composing introspective and insightful music since he was barely a teen, armed with a sense of musicianship and a musical maturity that belies his 22 years.

Ever since his critically-lauded 2007 debut album Holly, Nozuka has seen his popularity soar and his services ever more in demand.

In addition, he was recently called upon to lend his voice to K’Nann’s Haitian relief single, "Wavin’ Flag," alongside such talents as Avril Lavigne, Drake, Hedley’s Jacob Hoggard, Nelly Furtado and Justin Bieber.

I had the chance to speak with him about that and the long-awaited opportunity to tour with one of his boyhood musical idols. Check out my conversation with Justin Nozuka.
