CBS begins its portion of the TCA press tour today, and the only major announcement to come out of the executive session with network president Nina Tassler is the launch of an exhumed "Let's Make a Deal," to be hosted by Wayne Brady.
The long-running game show, originally hosted by Monty Hall, will air in the timeslot currently filled by "Guiding Light," which is being canned after about 400 years on the air.
"Whose Line Is It Anyway" fans may have noticed that this now makes two stars of that show who now host CBS game shows, with Brady joining "Price Is RIght" host Drew Carey on the daytime schedule.
Conspiracy theorists are already wondering if there is any truth to the totally made-up rumour (by me) that Colin Mochrie and Ryan Stiles have been tapped to co-host an updated version of "Bowling For Dollars."
