The fiasco that is "Jon & Kate Plus 8" just keeps spinning more wildly out of control. In the latest, cops were called to the estranged couple's home to break up a fight between the two.

So I guess that whole end-the-marriage-but-keep-the-show-going thing isn't working out all that well.

The last time I remember that particular situation, it involved Sonny & Cher. Their show didn't survive the break-up, and I doubt "Jon & Kate" will either.

According to US Weekly, police were called to the Gosselin home Thursday night after the couple got into a heated fight. It seems it was Jon's time with the kids when Kate showed up because she didn't approve of the babysitter. They argued, no arrests were made, and she fled in tears to a nearby Days Inn. Something tells me we won't be seeing this particular footage on their reality show. It would probably be just like an episode of Cops!

This just days after she came off a media blitz that saw her appear on the Today Show and Live! With Regis and Kelly.

For the love of everything holy, somebody needs to pull the plug on this show immediately. How can you watch them fake their way through fun family activities when what we really want to see is footage of a couple of police officers pulling them off each other.

Meanwhile, Jon Gosselin has apparently discovered the unique employment opportunies available to "celebrities" with no discernible talent, those who are famous just being famous. Joining the ranks of various Hiltons and Kardashians, Gosselin will hosting a poolside part at MGM Grand's Wet Republic on August 29. Past hosts of this shindig have inlcude, Lindsay Lohan, Kim Kardashian and Lauren Conrad.

I totally agree

TLC needs to cut their losses and realize that this is just not even cool anymore. End the contracts, and let them deal with these issues in private. Like you said, everyone knows their lives are a mess, so why try and pretend its not for the sake of a TV show!

WAO

i personally think for once they should stop hiding what they truly feel and let it all out.
why must the kids be in the middle, Jon and Kate think that its best pretending that one of them disappear on work trips for a while is the best thing to do ? It just confusses them and will put questions in the kids heads. They should just come all together and explain their situation to the kids sooner then latter.
