The January 23 issue of TV Week magazine takes you into the World of Oz -- Dr. Oz, that is. Here are some tips from Oprah's favourite doctor for a healthier you:

* You don’t need to drink eight glasses of water a day. “50-75 % of all the food we eat is water. Just make sure that you drink enough fluids that you can have clear urine you can read through. That means you are not dehydrated."

* Pre-menopausal women should take prenatal vitamins. “Half the time, you’re not going to know you’re pregnant when you’re pregnant so it’s smart to take them now."

* Never have two alcoholic drinks in a row. "Have a glass of water in between."

* If you smoke, stop. "Smoking, high blood pressure and obesity drive aging and illness."
