I expect television will hit a new low tonight with Fox's two-hour airing of "Octomom: The Incredible Unseen Footage."

This one-off special will, according to a Fox PR flak, "allow viewers to witness the emotional struggles, physical complications and financial burdens of this single mother of 14."

The subject of the show, ridiculously fertile Nadya Suleman, was already a mother of six when she somehow managed to pop out a set of octuplets, apparently without the need for a significant other.

"From the day the octuplets were born, cameras had unprecedented access to every area of Suleman's life," says the press release. "For more than seven months, cameras documented Suleman, capturing incredible footage, including the private moments and reactions of Suleman's family, as well as Suleman's own feelings, doubts and fears."

I'd be shocked if this isn't the train wreck we expect it to be, so leave your scruples at the door and tune in for a two-hour dose of crazy!

I'm sure...

...this will be a complete and total Gong Show. I have no intention of wasting my precious time watching this crap, so somebody will have to fill us all in on the answer to the burning question that's been nagging at me for quite some time: how does an unemployed single mother of six afford in vitro fertilization? Better yet, who was the whackjob that thought it was a great idea to pay for this? It's not FREE or even CHEAP! Some nutbar had to bankroll this venture.

Octomom show

I didn't want to watch, didn't want to support the nut job. The editing was great. Really made her look baaaad. Hope this squelched the horrible reality show idea. You have to pity the kids though. Maybe cps is watching the show.
