Tube Talk Podcast - Ricky Gervais

British comic Ricky Gervais is set to star as a cartoon character in the new HBO animated series The Ricky Gervais Show, based on his mega-popular podcast series with Stephen Merchant and Karl Pilkington.

Gervais of course is best known for playing clueless boss David Brent in the original UK series The Office, which has now been developed into multiple versions all over the world, including Russia, Germany, Chile, Israel, Quebec, and of course the US, starring Steve Carell.

Check out this interview clip where Gervais explains why he doesn't think quality control is necessary even as these different adaptations are popping up everywhere. (Spoiler: There's a funny Stephen Merchant interjection at the end)
