Writing was on the wall...

Not sure if anyone recalls this but Ellen debuted on "So You Think You Can Dance" last year and I thought then that she was really awful. And I really like Ellen, though since I went to her show as an audience member last fall and wasn't overly impressed (sadly), not quite as much as I once did. The show has lost a lot of its pizazz, for sure. It really IS Simon's show and he seems like the kind of guy who wouldn't really want it to be better after he leaves. I've just barely watched it this season -- waiting for the spring cleaning to be done and the top 12 chosen before I re-enlist for a while. Too bad, but you know a show like this has really lasted and been pretty darn good for a lot longer than the typical talent show.
