. . . that these guys would become television's two highest-paid actors?
That's right. Former "Three Musketeers" and "Young Guns" co-stars Charlie Sheen and Kiefer Sutherland are TV's best-paid actors, according to TV Guide's annual "Who Makes What" issue.
Thanks to the success of "Two and a Half Men," Sheen picks up a whopping US$875,000 per episode. Sutherland is in second place, earning US$550,000 for each hour of "24."
Following closely behind them are "House" star Hugh Laurie and "Law & Order: SVU's" Mariksa Hargitay and Chris Meloni, who each take home US$400,000 an episode.

Hmm...
So let me get my math straight. Jack Bauer saves America (well, the free world, really) on an hourly basis (all the while championing universal healthcare for his grandpop), but all What's-His-Name does each half-hour is wear nice bowling shirts while quipping moronic tripe, and HE clears an extra three-hundred-and-a-quarter grrrr an episode? What's wrong with THIS scenario?
Two and Half...
... is so much better than 24! Come on, Jack Bauer is once again at the middle of an amazingly crazy 24hr day of nonsensical randomness.... again oh and again....
Plus, Charlie's just damned funny!
Damned funny?
Alan: "There's a half-naked woman in our kitchen."
Charlie: "Which half?"
Yeah, that's hysterical... if I'm 12!
hehe....
yep, just made me laugh again :)
See?!
I was right. Doesn't take much.
