You can't always get what you want -- but the Top 12 "American Idol" finalists will be getting an awesome first theme in the songs of the Rolling Stones.

EW is reporting that during a break in the Wednesday night (March 10) live show, Ryan Seacrest taped a radio promo in which he revealed the theme for next week is the Rolling Stones.

Does this mean a Stone could mentor? Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood are all still living. Still, that would be a pretty big get for "Idol."

We're already envisioning the songs each contestant should choose, which will certainly be a future post. But off the tops of our heads ... Casey James should do an acoustic "Honky Tonk Woman" and Crystal Bowersox could probably do a mean "Ruby Tuesday." The big question is who is going to slaughter "Paint it Black?"
