It's been quite a year for CTV's Tamara Taggart. From landing a guest-hosting gig on Regis & Kelly last summer to raising her profile during the unforgettable 2010 Winter Olympics, the popular weathercaster is certainly riding high. And the good news just keeps on coming: Tamara is pregnant with her third child!
TV Week writer Anna Dupas recently caught up with Tamara Taggart over lunch. Check out some exclusive clips from their conversation as well as adorable photos with her son Beckett and daughter Zoë from the cover story shoot. (Photos by KA Davidson Photography)

What's up with all the hate?! I don't really find Tamara Taggart all that fascinating either, but come on, what's with all the negativity?

Seriously...enough is enough...what is the big deal about Tamara
Taggart...she's the weather girl...so what??? WHY is she always on the cover? I agree, anything else would be preferred.
I don't hate her...
Don't get me wrong, I've got nothing against her - but I agree that enough is enough. Too many issues of the magazine are devoted to local "celebrities" that no one really cares about. I think this is the 3rd time she's been the cover story in the past year or so.
I'd prefer to see articles about actual TV celebrities or shows, and once in a while a feature on something about a local personality.
Stop Hating Tamara!
I had said this before; If you don't like her, then ... Stop Watching that Newscast. Simple. And this is 2010; Women have Kids AND WORK!! I feel sorry for those that are intimidated by her having a Special Needs Wonderful Son + a Cute as a button daughter AND has the warmth of such a big heart to go ahead and have another child w/her busy also HUSBAND! If you can't understand why Tamara is on the cover and why she is valued by so many people than that's your problem, you don't need to go around ruining it for the rest of us. Do you not have anything better to do than write negative feedback? If YOUR face was on the cover and people were slandering you because well to be honest who the hell knows or cares what you do, I'm sure you wouldn't appreciate it. If you don't like it just search to read something else, its not like its the only news to broadcast!!!
Tamara is a great person and a great mom, she is an activist and deserves better than this!

Yawn! Another Cover Featuring Tamara Taggart.
Although I think it's nice she has a new baby, it's hardly worth having her on the cover because of it, yet again.
And why always Tamara Taggart? Are there no other interesting local TV personalities in B.C.?
Besides, I really don't need to know every little detail about Tamara's life.

Why don't you email BRENT FURDYK himself and ask him. Send all the negative comments his way while you're at. It's not her fault she's on here is it?

I actually met her wonderful child today and spent almost an hour playing with him.
He's wonderful and super cute! And Tamara is a great mother of 3~!
Taggart's career in
Taggart's career in broadcasting started while she was attending BCIT in Burnaby, British Columbia, where she was enrolled in the Broadcast Communications program. She moved on to co-host the breakfast show and then, later, the entertainment spot on the evening news...
